Sean's Bio
Sean Brown is a New Mexico native who has called Texas home for nearly 25 years. He is a former US Army Medic, Firefighter, Civilian NR-EMT, OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer, and CPR/First Aid Instructor. For 25 years, Sean has been a Tattoo Artist, specializing in Medical Restorative Tattooing for Breast Cancer Survivors, and for the past six years, he has provided these services free of charge to help survivors and fighters feel complete and whole again. He also develops products and teaches techniques to empower other technicians and artists worldwide to continue this important work.
In addition to his artistic and medical contributions, Sean has founded, operated, and sold several Texas-based companies, and he currently serves as the Director of Safety, Compliance, and Regulatory for a group overseeing 15 companies worldwide. His experience in regulatory development is extensive, having worked with U.S. Congress, the FDA, and the CDC to craft sensible legislation that balances public health and industry innovation.
Sean’s service to his community extends to the Village of Volente, where he was unanimously appointed as a Councilmember in 2023. He is also serving as a Commissioner on the Planning and Zoning Committee and as Vice Chair of the Public Safety Committee. His leadership and dedication to ensuring safety and responsible development are at the forefront of his work in Volente.
Above all, Sean values his role as a husband and father. He and his wife, Summer, along with their two children, moved to Volente to embrace the quiet, safe, and unique country lakeside community that they now call home.
